i like a lot the angle, but i think the colors are a little too much emphasized. but, on the other hand, it's a matter of personal taste. still the composition is great.

@Romine: Yes, I agree with you, colors are over-saturated, just over (or beyond!) the limit... I was long considering this issue... on one hand, they are clearly unnatural... but, on the other hand they are appealing and they express, from my point of view, the vitality and joy of the streets of this district of Barcelona, St. Caterina's neighborhood, in the downtown, where immigrant people of all the countries live together. As you say, it's a matter of taste!!! I really appreciate your constructive comment, and I would like to know what does other people think about this issue. Thank you Romine!!!

I just watched a movie that took place in Barcelona - I imagine this part of Spain to be very photogenic !
I like the over saturation for this image and think it works well here

@Jason Kravitz: Yes, I think too it works, although adding some "irreality" to the scene. This is the first of a serie of three shots around the same part of Barcelona which, as you suspect, is actually very very photogenic.

@Francesc B.: Es que, per algú de fora, entre dir "Badalona" o "Barcelona", hi ha una diferència infinita!!

@jelb: Yes, I don't know if you refer to a certain trend in most photoblog towards almost B&W, desaturated or/and dark colours. I think this gloom style, which I also like, is considered "serious" and "artistic". Contrary to this I have perceived that my recent posted images are dominated by powerful colors, coincidentally or unconsciously. Thank you for your comment!

Ahhh! Ahora me he dado cuenta de porque no podía dejarte comentarios. Resulta que en la oficina tengo el Vista y aquí en casa el XP y debe ser por eso. Y algo de los coquies también, claro. Esta foto es muy llamativa por la gran combinación de colores brillantes que hay. La has visto muy bien!

@José-Angel: Gracias José Angel, es la primera de una seria de tres que saldran en los próximos dias. Te aconsejo que pruebes los lectores de feeds que te comenté, creo que te ayudarán a ahorrar tiempo!!

m'agrada molt l'angle de captura i els colors saturats li queda força be al conjunt!
ah si, vaig provar retallant el terre abans de pujar-la i quedava com rara molt quadrada i no m'agradava el resultat amb l'alçada de les xemeneies...manies meves :)
